Process & Facility Engineering

Utility infrastructure that connects the facility to the process. Precise routing, considered interfaces and coordinated installation in demanding production environments.

  • 03

    Agreed utility & facility interfaces

  • 04

    Facility upgrades and installation coordination

From defined requirements to a working installation.

01

Define the interfaces

Review utility requirements, connection points, material specifications, equipment information and site restrictions.

02

Plan the installation

Coordinate routing, supports, access and interfaces with the surrounding facility and equipment.

03

Fabricate and install

Prepare and install the agreed piping and assemblies to the project drawings and material requirements.

04

Test and document

Complete the agreed inspection and testing scope, then coordinate handover with the project team.

Make the scope clear. Make the records useful.

The final deliverables are agreed for the project. Typical handover items include:

  • Coordinated utility and piping scope
  • Installed distribution and equipment interfaces
  • Agreed inspection and testing records
  • As-built and material information where specified

SCOPE / INSTALLATION / VERIFICATION

A few things to establish early.

Do you work with SS316L BA and EP piping?

Yes. BA and EP piping form part of Newzone’s process-system capabilities. Material, finish, connections and installation requirements are confirmed against the project specification.

Can you support an equipment installation?

We can support the agreed utility and facility interfaces. Equipment details, utility schedules, connection points and responsibilities should be established before installation.

Can work be carried out in an operating facility?

The approach is planned around access, service availability and agreed shutdowns. Any isolation, tie-in and return-to-service steps need coordination with the facility team.
